The basic shell of the book is pretty much done. I’ll make sure you have a complementary paid subscription here to read through each of the 14 episodes I’ve written. It’s only available here on line exclusively. I haven’t pushed myself to get any publishers interested yet. But if one hears about it here and I can get enough free subscribers, then I’ll have more ammunition to get them interested. So, encourage your friends to click for a free subscription!
Your Mom's Uncle Tom was my Dad and we lived in that hotel for awhile. how I wish it was still there so many memories. I always thought the hotel was in Cresson,PA.
Keep up with the writing. I know we have talked, but it is still fascinating to read about.
Hi Cheryl! I was giving a general location, and you’re right about that hotel. But I discovered that there was more than one Hoffman hotel in that area! The original owner, Mr. Hoffman, built several of them. When researching, I found mostly pictures of the “new” Hoffman hotel, not the one you and I know of. Of course, I’ve taken some poetic license here, though you and I both know 90% of this story is true! Thanks for reading!
